Clash Royale Best Decks top meta decks for clash royale

Clash Royale, on its surface, appears to be a reasonably simple, straightforward kind of strategy game, but looks can be deceiving. You’ll know this once you start climbing the ladder and your decks aren’t cutting it anymore. Creating a “good” deck in Clash Royale can be challenging and, for new players especially, it can be overwhelming. You’re only allowed to slot in 8 cards, and learning which cards synergize the best usually requires a LOT of practice and game knowledge.

However, you can use decks that are already solid and save yourself the time of trying to create your own, at least while you’re still learning the game. That’s where we come in, we’ve curated a list of the Best Clash Royale Decks to save you time so you can focus on the fun part of the game, crushing your opponents.

Before we get to the Top meta Decks, you need to understand that most of these decks utilize certain attack strategies to be most effective. You can’t just haphazardly spam units and expect easy wins. We’ll dive more in-depth into each deck in their own separate posts where we’ll go over attack/defense strategies, other units/spells you can swap in, and more.

This great, well-rounded deck can stand up to just about every other deck out there as long as you play it well. P.E.K.K.A. is there to counter your opponent’s pushes and will usually have HP to spare so you could counter with your own push. Battle Ram and Bandit are great for split pushing, luring enemy units, or just taking a tower. Add an Electro Wizard into the mix and watch your enemies melt.

Mega Knight Miner Deck

Mega Knight is a powerhouse, capable of defending a push or creating your own with his high damage and hp. Inferno Dragon is typically used in this deck to kill enemy tank units, so it’s recommended to try and save him for that purpose. Bats are great to bait enemy zaps, followed up with your skeleton barrel, goblins, etc. Miner is a great pickup for securing wins as he can tunnel directly to enemy towers and start swinging away.

Loon Freeze Conrol Deck

Loon Freeze is a very versatile, defensive-focused control deck with a lot of powerful units. Inferno dragon is great for melting tanks and getting a counter push going. Combine that with a Balloon and it will almost undoubtedly force your opponent to have to react. Freeze is best kept for defenses until you know what your opponent is using, but it’s still very strong to use offensively.

2.6 Hog Cycle Deck

The 2.6 Hog Cycle Deck has somehow withstood the test of time and remains one of the best Free-to-Play decks. Hog Rider is your main win condition, he can be great to play in opposite lanes, kite enemy units, or played behind units for a counter push. Cannon is best used defensively, if you’re up against Graveyard players you should place this next to the tower, unless your opponent is using freeze of course. Musketeer is important to defend as she’s your only unit that can deal damage to air units.
