The Clash Royale Chest Cycle is a predetermined pattern of chests that you’ll receive in after your battles. The pattern is normally hidden, but thanks to some helpful websites it is possible to track your next chest rewards quite easily. The cycle begins once you get all four wooden chests from the tutorial- the first silver chest you’ll ever receive is rewarded after you complete the last tutorial battle.
Why should you track your Clash Royale Chest Cycle?
Well to put it simply, Chests in Clash Royale are your primary source of cards and resources, unless you’re willing to start forking over real money.
To open these chests you’ll either have to use a Chest Key or wait a specific amount of time to open it, depending on the rarity of the chest. You’re given 4 chest slots and you cannot receive another chest if your slots are full. To make matters worse, you can only unlock one chest at a time and the only way to get rid of a chest is to open it.
As you can see, knowing the cycle ahead of time can definitely increase your time efficiency.
How to view your Clash Royale Chest Cycle
Luckily, tracking your Clash Royale Chest Cycle is made very simple, just follow the steps below.
- Launch Clash Royale then view your profile page.
- Copy your Player Tag that should be listed below your profile name.
- Then visit either RoyaleAPI.com or Stats Royale.com.
- Paste or enter your Player Tag in the text box and hit search.
- You should see a lot of stats about your profile as well as your current chest cycle. (You may need to scroll down some)
Chest Types, Unlock Times & How to get Chests in Clash Royale
Certain factors play a role not only in what chests you can receive but also what reward types/amounts you can get. For example, only once you’ve reached King Level 14 can you find Champion cards (Soon to be Arena 16, King Level 33). Card rarity improves based on the current Arena level you’re up to and the rarity of chests you’ll receive in your cycle is based on King Level. (Note: An update will be releasing soon that will rework King Level & add new Champion Chests / Wild Cards – we’ll try and update this post ASAP)
There are ways to earn Free Gems in Clash Royale, but it can take a while to collect enough so use them wisely.
